After googling I found out that the 6572R1 > is PAL-N. Is there a trick to get a color picture on a standard PAL > monitor? Or do I have to get a PAL-N compatible monitor or TV. PAL-N uses a colour carrier with 3.58 MHz. This PAL-Version is used in South-America (e. g. Argentina) with the broadcast standard CCIR N. VHS-Tapes, they are recorded with a PAL-N VHS-Recorder can be play back in a PAL (Europe, Asia, Australia, New-Zealand) VHS-Recorder and vice versa in colour. This C64, which you own, can only used Monitor or a TV-Set with PAL-N standard. -- ciao @rndt Message was sent through the cbm-hackers mailing list
