Hello, Tony in Florida (Sharkonwheels on the Vintage Computer Forum) picked up a lot of Commodore related equipment recently. Among the pile was a somewhat unknown 3rd party floppy drive, manufactured by Commander Electronics Systems Inc, Santa Ana, CA. It seems to go by the model name C-II and hads 6-pin DIN connectors on the side of the case, not on the rear end. Find more information and pictures here. http://www.vintage-computer.com/vcforum/showthread.php?t=8326&page=2 Does anyone remember this drive? I browsed among other 3rd party drives, but frankly can't say I recognize it, but then again odd floppy drives never were my forte. We'll see when Tony powers it up, if it works like a 1541 clone. Replies to the list or into the forum as you wish (may require registration if you're not already a member like me or Bill Degnan).
