Hello hackers, I got another row added since there was enough room left in memory to do it (this is a lowres, color space reduced version again): http://d81.de/shared/vic-ii/01_row_13to12.png Micha, as already seen with the two sample image file from Friday there is again a small GAP between these two rows instead of an overlap. I was able to estimate to correct distance with the help of some cut out fragments. May I ask, if want to address this sometime? Maybe redoing the whole imaging work with reduced vertical stepping size or just supplying the missing parts? By the way, such big overlays as with the horizontal ones may have a big advantage. Currently I'm using luminance blending between two paired layers after these were adjusted using inverse multiply blending, this is something like doing cross correlation by hand. To reduce sharp, recognizable edges between two stitched image pieces even more, I could apply some alpha blending to the four edges of each piece. Maybe I try out to stitch together a third row, but now using this edge alpha blending applied to each image piece before, hmmm..... Womo Message was sent through the cbm-hackers mailing list
