I set all my start addresses to 1025 ($0401). This makes it loadable on any 8 bit Commodore computer. The BASIC part checks where it is loaded and calculates the POKEs and SYS accordingly. The machine language part checks for the top of memory and adjusts the code accordingly and then loads the actual wedge to the top of BASIC memory. In short, it works on any memory configuration. Note: It does not check for valid device numbers. It simply uses whatever you give it. - This message was sent through the cbm-hackers mailing list.
