Do you use "reasonable mailer" called elm?

> I can see in my Thunderbird (52.6.) there are TWO buttons "Reply" and "List Reply" right next beside it. The right one sends to "cbm-hackers@musoftware.de" and the original "reply"-button to the author of the mail. Seems pretty straight-forward to me.

Do you believe that _remembering_ which keystroke / button to use in particular situation is more straight-forward than not remembering it?

Besides, Reply-to: is exactly useful for this particular reason: I send from an address "a" but please don't respond to it, please respond to address "b", which I give you in the extra header. How a "reasonable mailer" may elect to ignore that _by default_ is beyond me.

P. S. Do you immediately know what "munging" is? Oxford dictionary doesn't.. And I hardly consider setting a well-established header or not setting it "munging". All in all seems like an opinionated piece written by an avid elm user well over a decade ago. Kind of reminds me of strong opinions of about similar time, explaining why using "special" characters is harmful and how much it is better to vandalise various non-English languages when writing an e-mail in order not to do "harm".

EOT (of the OT ;-)
