With a 74LS139 you can either demirror one of the existing 6526s, VIC and/or SID. (Or use IO1 or IO2 to address it but then you'll lose some functionality). The biggest advantage of this solution IMHO: there is only one CPU you have to program for, thus only one source of possible trouble.
