Normally, a file server that emulates a floppy disk would serve
something from file system images, right? And unlike with the tape, the
client would have to specify a file name when loading.

But there could be a option to the file server software that makes it
serve a single file, no matter which file name has been requested, and
exit as soon as that file has been served. This could then be used as a
replacement of c2nload. (You can invoke c2nload from a Makefile, and it
would block until the file has been loaded.)

I guess that the DIN connectors for the IEC bus are easier to find than
card edge connectors for the tape port.

What about the PRUSS on the Beaglebone? Has anyone written anything
Commodore-related for that?
