My latest 2001-8 is 41072. It is labelled as a "Professional Computer" but it has the green phosphor screen. I have one somewhere around 36000 and it still has a white phosphor screen. All the rest of mine are white phosphor. I don't see much difference between the "Personal Computer" and "Professional Computer" other than the green screen. I wonder if that was the only difference. I will have to check. All are mine including 41072 are denoted as "2001-8" models and all of them have the chicklet keyboard. I didn't get into the full keyboard 2001s because the variations are astounding and this doesn't even take into account European models that may have differences as well. Serial number 10705 would have had a metal nameplate. Your original case top would have had welded sides on the top half as opposed to later ones were one-piece folded metal with the keyboard being a separate piece that was welded on. To illustrate this, I linked a picture of 10051 below. If you look at the top-right of the picture of the inside of the case, you can see a thin metal strip between the top and side of the case. Your upgraded case top would have been folded metal. There is also variations on how the top and bottom sections were fastened. Earlier ones with screws, later ones with rivets. I am sure 99% of the people don't care but I find the evolution of this one model pretty interesting.
