Hi there, I am looking for a good, reusable, and flexible TCP/IP stack for the 6502, that provides at least up to TCP socket API, and exchangeable ethernet hardware drivers. I have been using uIP so far, but it is not developed anymore. Or rather, to be correct, it has been integrated into Contiki, and would probably be difficult to extract again. I found ip65, but this seems to be more current, but the github repo does not allow issues, so no idea about the amount of "support" (in the meaning of someone considers himself/herself an owner and is able to help with questions, more cannot be expected in our hobby). Anyone knows the state of it? Bugs, known issues, how does it work internally? I have my own SLIP TCP/IP stack, but that does not do ethernet but only SLIP. It could be adapted though, but e.g. ARP or DHCP are still missing. My goal is to take this as new TCP/IP implementation into the GeckOS operating system, so as few dependencies as possible, flexibility in hardware support, and a simple socket API would be key. So, right now I am unsure whether to continue using uIP, or switching to IP65. What do you think, other ideas? Thanks AndréReceived on 2021-05-15 13:00:03
