Thanks, Those chips seem to be in service of niche hardware, in a local supplier they cost (MT8812 PLCC) $17-18 each, it's the same on Aliexpress with the added shipping&customs and stuff. I like to design quick&dirty stuff so I would have possibly bought your existing solution which in this case seems cheaper than to build one by self. I recently acquired a C128D with no keyboard, I hacked a connector for the C64 keyboard but I have a desire to build a commodore 64 in a pc case then I'll surely buy your existing solution.
