I very quickly came to the same conclusion. For some reason I had been under the impression that the 75160 and 75161 were legacy and discontinued, but happily they're still being produced by TI in both through hole and SMD (SOIC) packages. From DigiKey, they're about US $2.80 each in small quantities, and as low as US$1.08 in bulk. The prototype I built uses the through-hole devices, and they greatly simplified things from my original kludgy design. I'm looking forward to seeing where the PET-SD stuff goes! -Seth Message was sent through the cbm-hackers mailing listReceived on 2011-05-30 21:00:07
