One possible goal of three discussed solution was to manage 64-bit compatibility of "CBM_FILE" internally to OpenCBM, so that "CBM_FILE" is always a 32-bit integer, even under 64-bit systems. This would manage binary compatibility to older 0.4.x OpenCBM releases. This VICE incompatbility is probably just one example of this issue. Oh, and sorry for pointing this out while having failed to give an implementation for that internal mapping so far ;-) Womo -- ------ to obtain more infos about me, look up the page ------ ------ http://www.wmsr.de | wm (at) wmsr (dot) de ------ Message was sent through the cbm-hackers mailing listReceived on 2012-12-10 08:00:15
