Thanks to Nicolas and Ruud for reporting themselves. I've ordered some SMD parts from Reichelt today. (Until today I didn't know that they prefer to answer Internet orders by fax, and not to answer e-mails at all. Good that I was expecting some other fax today, as their answer had been there since last Tuesday.) If everything goes nicely, I'll publish the hardware and software before Christmas. The 20 parts kits will be mainly for the Finnish market; I don't want to gather more experience in soldering more tiny SMD components than that. Those who are willing to produce and sell the hardware (two SMD ICs, a few SMD capacitors and resistors, an SMD crystal, a cassette port connector and a DB9F connector) can contact me for details, so that I can include an "ordering information" section in the documentation. I'm not looking for any royalties or profit, as this is a hobby. Marko Message was sent through the cbm-hackers mailing list
